Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested, processed, and issued for donations made to DR HODOPHILE FOUNDATION (“Organization”).

2. Eligibility for Refund Requests

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 – 10 days from the donation transaction.
• Required documents:
  • Valid reason for refund
  • Transaction proof (date, amount, reference number)
• Requests must be sent via official email, website contact form, or postal address.
• Refunds will not be granted if the donation was made over 24 hours ago or has been allocated to a project.

3. Non-Refundable Donations

Donations made towards specific projects, events, or through third-party platforms are strictly non-refundable.

4. Review and Processing of Refund Requests

• Requests will be acknowledged within 3 working days.
• The Organization reserves the right to approve or reject the request.

5. Refund Method and Deductions

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
• A 5% processing fee will be deducted.

6. Timelines for Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 – 10 working days.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Organization is not liable for errors on the donor’s part, technical failures, or unauthorized transactions.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by Indian law and falls under the jurisdiction of Kerala courts.

9. Arbitration Clause

Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Palakkad, Kerala.

10. Data Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information provided for refunds will be used solely for that purpose and will not be shared.
